Brazil Trade Facilitation Inception Report FINAL 17.03.2020
Annex 2 Brazil Trade Facilitation MREL plan – AH revised 130320
I’ve been working since last October as part of a Palladium-led team to design a new FCO-funded programme to support more Brazilian MSME’s (small firms) to start exporting or expand their export markets. Attaching here the Inception Report completed in March which includes my proposals for the Monitoring, Reporting, Evaluation and Learning (MREL) elements of the programme – along with an MREL plan annex. Logframe also available on request.
This programme is one of 8 that were being developed in Brazil under the UK’s Prosperity Fund – which emphasises primary benefits for Brazilian entrepreneurs but also secondary benefits for UK firms who gain new export and investment opportunities in Brazil as a result of the programme’s activities. Will have to see what now happens with these “planned” programmes given the COVID-19 pandemic and political/ economic instability in Brazil.
Please note these are draft/ working documents and may be subject to further revision.
